Amanda Dobbie is the Manager of Employee & Leadership Development at Canadian Blood Services. She leads a team of professionals dedicated to the service of supporting others through formal, social and experiential development opportunities which seeks to grow and inspire while creating meaningful conversations and practices which support them to achieve their fullest potential.
Amanda believes that we all have the agency to create the best version of ourselves, our teams and our organizations. Through intentional dialogue, action planning, execution, reflection and continuous learning we can all get exactly where we would like to go. Amanda has spent her career in the sport, higher education and health care, not-for-profit sector. She has collaborated with many stakeholders national and internationally to bring leadership development and coaching to the core of our performance and objectives.
As a continuous learner herself, Amanda is a Professional Goal-Centric Certified Coach from Concordia University’s John Molson School of Business Executive Centre and a Certified Excellence Professional through Excellence Canada. She has a Management Development certificate from Carleton University and Adult Learning Certification from Algonquin College.
Amanda also holds an Honours degree with First-Class standing in Sport Management, from Brock University.
