They help people retrain and upgrade their skills to find new employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students enrolled in an&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ontario.ca\/page\/micro-credentials-ontarios-postsecondary-schools#section-2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Ontario Student Assistance Program (OSAP) approved micro-credential program<\/a>&nbsp;can apply for financial assistance through OSAP for Micro-credentials. Eligible students must apply for funding for each course separately by following the step-by-step application process.
