Lia Taylor

Lia is a fourth-year honours student at Carleton University, completing her B.A. in psychology with a concentration in forensics.

Research: Lia is currently completing her thesis in the Gender and Crime Lab under the supervision of Dr. Shelley Brown. Lia is interested in justice involved females and youth, focusing on gender-based violence and criminal behaviour within this vulnerable population.

Future goals: Lia plans to pursue a master’s degree in experimental or counselling psychology in the Fall of 2023. She also is interested in volunteering with the Correctional Service of Canada.
