Olivia recently graduated from Carleton with a bachelor’s degree in psychology (concentration in forensics and a stream in mental health and wellbeing).
Research: Olivia’s research interests include mental health and addiction pattern differences between criminal justice involved females and males. With particular interest in Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and how they relate to pathways of offending. Her honour’s thesis focused on the relationship between Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and offending trajectories across both gender and race. Currently, Olivia is employed as a psychometrist at a clinic for psychoeducational assessment and therapy. Further, she volunteers part-time in the Gender and Crime Lab.
Future Goals: In the future, Olivia is planning to pursue graduate studies in clinical psychology.
