Originally from Montreal, Veronika was studying sociology at Concordia University before discovering her specific interests in delinquency. She transferred to Carleton University and began her studies in forensic psychology.
Research: Veronika is currently completing her undergraduate honours thesis with Dr. Shelley Brown examining treatment dosage amongst justice-involved women in community contexts.
Future Goals:
Veronika intends on pursuing graduate studies in forensic psychology. Broadly, her research interests lay at the intersection of developmental, feminist, and forensic psychology. More specifically, she is interested in topics involving justice-involved youths, ACEs, gendered differences in the justice system, correctional programming and outcomes, and more.
