Contract Instructor (CI) – New opportunity in the Winter 2019 Term

DGES invites applications from members of the CUPE 4600-2 bargaining unit and other interested persons to teach GEOG/ENST 1020 “People, Places and Environments” in the Winter 2019 term (click on the name of the course to see calendar course description; current fall term course outline is available here).  The course is scheduled to be taught Mondays 8:35 – 10:25.  Students will also attend tutorials through the rest of the week, under TA direction.

Qualifications

A Masters degree in Geography, or Geomatics, or Environmental Studies, or a related discipline is the minimum requirement to be considered for this CI position. Previous work or research experience in the subject area is required; previous teaching experience in the subject area is not required but will be considered an asset.  The CI stipend will be $7,306.
