I graduated from the University of Waterloo in 2019 with a bachelors of environmental studies in honors geography and environmental management with the co-op designation, which led to my career at Environment Canada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I have always had an interest in wetlands which led me to pursue my masters. My supervisor is <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/geography\/people\/elyn-humphreys\/\">Elyn Humphreys<\/a>, and I am studying methane emissions in constructed wetlands. My research site is the Sandhill Fen which is a restoration project from oil sand mining that was originally constructed on 2012.
