It was there that an elective course on permafrost propelled me to pursue a master\u2019s degree in the field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"x_MsoNormal\">In September 2023, I started a MSc under the supervision of Stephan Gruber on a project seeking to reveal changing permafrost conditions in Canada from ground temperature observations.
