She has over fifteen years of experience in national and international research and professional work related to public health nutrition, food policy, food security, and equitable food systems, including projects in Canada, Uganda, Malawi, and Iran. Her research and practice focus on community-based approaches, intersectionality, gender-based analysis, food policy, and science communication.
