available again starting <strong class=\"myprefix-text-bold\">Summer 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Awarded annually on the recommendation of the Chair of the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies to undergraduate students enrolled in <strong>human geography<\/strong> and <strong>environmental studies<\/strong>.&nbsp; The purpose of this bursary is to assist in defraying the costs of academically related travel.&nbsp; Established in 2017 by Charles Nixon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Examples of eligible travel:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Travel to attend a conference (Undergraduate);<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Travel related to a course that does not have other funding opportunities or funding opportunities that do not cover the full amount of travel;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other
