It is with great sadness the Department of Geography and Environmental Studies shares the news of the recent passing of Judy Eddy. Judy Eddy was the Undergraduate Administrator in our department from 2005 until 2018 when she retired, after almost 30 years at Carleton. Hundreds of former students and visitors to the department will remember Judy as the warm, welcoming and supportive woman at the first desk one arrives at entering our departmental offices. Those of us who worked with her know how much she contributed to the collegial and social nature of our department.  After a short and courageous fight against cancer Judy passed away on April 24th, 2024. Our condolences to Judy’s family and loved ones.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Celebration of Life for Judy<\/a> took place on Monday, June 10th at her favorite place, the Metcalfe Golf Club, 1956 8th Line Rd in Metcalfe ON @1pm.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n
