He is the editor and a key contributor to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.silvermineshydro.ie\/in-the-community\/heritage\"><em>Silvermines, A Heritage of Mines and Miners<\/em>,<\/a> a comprehensive publication exploring the rich mining history of the Silvermines district in Ireland. Greg\u2019s diverse career spans government service in statistics and cartography, academia in Canada and Ireland, and leadership as CEO of a diversified holdings company serving a First Nation in Canada\u2019s Yukon Territory, with interests in mining, renewable energy, and aviation. Since retiring in 2020, he has been instrumental in advancing a \u20ac650 million, 296MW pumped hydro station project in County Tipperary, blending his expertise in natural resources, heritage, and sustainable energy.
