The award winners were announced and celebrated during the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences (FASS) annual vin d\u2019honneur, held on Thursday, March 26, at the Carleton University Art Gallery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Professor Ballamingie is a Professor in Geography and Environmental Studies, cross-appointed with the Institute of Political Economy at Carleton University. Her interdisciplinary research focuses on food policy and food systems governance, with a strong emphasis on community-engaged scholarship, environmental democracy, and building just and sustainable food systems in Canada. She is recognized for her long-standing partnerships with community organizations and her leadership in participatory, action-oriented research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Marson LaFrance Research Fellowship recognizes outstanding research achievement and impact within FASS.
