Special mention goes to <strong>Josie Mallett<\/strong> on earning <strong>3rd place<\/strong> at this year\u2019s competition.<br><br>Sarah Lavall\u00e9e, Geography master\u2019s of arts student:\u00a0&#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=2Fy3iqDlyZc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><em>Heckled for being weed eaters: Re-claiming cultural roots through urban foraging<\/em>.<\/a>&#8220;<br><br><strong>Third Place:<\/strong>\u00a0Josie Mallett, Geography master\u2019s of science student. <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/_D5OCgKLzCQ?si=mef61Jwooc0rjB_e\">\u201c<em>Marsh troubles and methane bubbles: Methane emissions in restored wetlands<\/em>.\u201d<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 3MT competition showcases the depth and diversity of graduate research at Carleton while strengthening students\u2019 ability to communicate complex ideas to a broad audience.
