Blue Miaoran Dong

Blue Miaoran Dong is a Ph.D. student at the School of Journalism and Communication at Carleton University. Her research interests include the political economy, rural broadband, comparative studies, internet regulation, and the development of the platform ecosystem. She is working on collaborated journal articles on comparative studies of internet regulation and marketing campaigns, food traceability, and local food access. She has presented at the CCA, CGC, TPRC49, AOIR conference. She is doing data management at the Global Media and Internet Concentration (GMIC) Project. She is also the research assistant for the Ghost Management in the Pharmaceutical and Agricultural Chemical Sectors: Dynamics and Implications for Canadian Political Economy Project.
