SUMMARY:Through a Global Lens Photography Competition
DESCRIPTION:GO-ISSO, in partnership with CUSA brings to you ‘Through a Global Lens’ an annual photography competition that takes place at Carleton University. Historically, print photographs have been displayed in an exhibit in the University Centre Galleria and voting happens in person at the event. Since the last few years, we've pivoted to Digital copies of the images and digital voting. 



Educational Goals  



The goal of this program is to promote internationalization on Carleton’s campus by centering global perspectives and experiences on campus. Activities surrounding the photo competition will enhance opportunities to diversify one's lens as a platform for healthy global engagement. This is open to all Carleton students.



This year theme is " Everyday Life”, highlighting daily routine or candid moments that reflect local peaceful life. Participants must include a short description (2-3 sentences) explaining the story behind their photo, why it’s meaningful, or what it represents. 







The top 3 submissions will receive the following prizes proudly sponsored by CUSA.



1st prize: $100 Gift Card



2nd Prize: $50 Gift Card 



3rd Prize: $25 Gift Card
