DESCRIPTION:Are you a new international student starting at Carleton University this winter? Do you have questions about accessing services, study permits, work, and navigating campus and Ottawa? The International Student Services Office (ISSO) is here to help!

We highly encourage you to take advantage of the free I-Start International Orientation online mini-course. It’s specifically designed for new international students at Carleton University.



Through this course, you will learn the information needed to help you transition to student life at Carleton and in Canada. This orientation has been designed to meet the needs of all international students, including undergraduate, graduate, and study abroad students..



Topics include: ISSO services, the University Health Insurance Plan (UHIP), immigration advising, student life in Canada, navigating Ottawa, and much more!
