I applied to the Canadian house and was accepted. Rent was quite low for living in Paris, and the Cit\u00e9 is its own campus filled with other exchange student and many great services like restaurants and study spaces. It was nice to live surrounded by many other Canadians. I would recommend it to anybody studying in Paris. It is also a very short walk to the RER B train for an easy commute. There, the tellers are used to dealing with foreign students and it was a very easy process. One of the main reasons I chose Paris was its proximity to other European countries and it being a major transport hub. It was very easy for me to visit the UK and Ireland, Portugal and Morocco, as well as other places within France like Normandy and Brittany.
