This office helped me with everything from registering with the city to choosing an insurance provider. The academic life is very different from back home. To start, the grading system is completely different; you are graded from 1 (being the best) to 5 (being the worst). A lot of my courses only had finals, no assignments, or midterms. It was ok, I had my private room; however, the kitchen and bathrooms were shared. This was a first-time experience for me, as it was my first time living alone. Once that was set up, I opened an online bank account called N26 as they had no fees for transfers and transactions. I also mainly used my Canadian bank account as I could withdraw money and pay without any problems. I spent 7 days in Switzerland with my friends, and it was like a true winter wonderland. When summer came, we spent 4 days in Greece, and the weather was perfect.
