They offer free prepay sim cards as well as movie nights, ESN Tuesdays, and group trips. UNI life (app) shows all events and activities happening on campus. Associations for faculties provide group study session (Cedo Nulli is the one for Social &amp; Behavioural Sciences). Costs 2.99 a month but fast set up all digital and mail you maestro debit for free. Revolut is good for switching between currencies and is free to have a prepaid digital Mastercard. N26 is also good and digital, it should be free and many exchange students use it. Europe is far cheaper than Canada for phone plans. With Thalys you can do a day or two-day trip to places like Paris easily, so keep an eye out for prices. Booking.com is useful for stays and to get discounts as you travel. Tulip fields are beautiful in end of April, beginning May. Rent a bike from area around Nordwijk and bike around the fields for hours. K\u00f6ln Germany has great Christmas markets.
