The Residence X team were always hosting events for those of us in accommodation halls to make sure we were sociable and could explore campus in new and fun ways. I also had many opportunities to join their sports teams and other recreational activities. Plus, it made it easier to meet new friends and gave me connections to people in other halls. I simply used their online portal to apply for residence, just as you would here. It was easy and simple to do. For my cell phone, I used a website called giffgaff which offers cheap UK plans with loads of data available for Europe and the UK. Travel is fairly cheap throughout Europe and the UK and I would often take the train or EasyJet flights to go to Scotland, Hungary, Italy and different cities in England!
