Request that a \u201cFraud Warning\u201d be placed on your credit file instructing creditors to contact you personally before opening new accounts in your name \u2013 these warnings remain on file for 6 years. Remember to contact and file fraud warnings with both bureaus.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Get help from Carleton resources such as Health and Counselling, Student Affairs or the ISSO.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If you encounter a suspicious message, website or phone call, please contact Carleton\u2019s Information Technology Services (ITS) Service Desk at <a href=\"mailto:its.service.desk@carleton.ca\">its.service.desk@carleton.ca<\/a> or 613-520-3700.
