starting November 15, 2022<\/span><\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"x_contentpasted0\"><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">On October 7, the Honourable Sean Fraser, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, announced that eligible international students will not be limited to 20 hours per week of off-campus work during the period between November 15, 2022 and December 31, 2023.<\/span><\/span><span class=\"x_contentpasted0\"><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">&nbsp;<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"x_contentpasted0\"><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">Carleton students whose valid study permit authorizes them to work off-campus should note that they must maintain full-time student status to benefit from this temporary removal of the cap on off-campus working hours.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><span class=\"x_contentpasted0\"><span class=\"ContentPasted0\">The Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) says: \u201c<i class=\"ContentPasted0\">This measure will provide many international students with a greater opportunity to gain valuable work experience in Canada and will increase the availability of workers to sustain Canada\u2019s post-pandemic growth<\/i>.\u201d<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Read more from the <a Canada. &nbsp;The ISSO also hosts several <a href=\"https:\/\/carleton.ca\/go-isso\/events-2\/\">information sessions<\/a> where students can get answers from their certified immigration
