Description:
Artificial Intelligence (AI) is poised to change the way we work and the way we look for work. Recent developments like OpenAI’s 2022 release of ChatGPT have shown that the knowledge economy will not be immune to automation. In this workshop we will look at the development of AI, the impact it may have on the job market, and how knowledge professionals can to work with AI as a tool instead of fearing it.
Learning outcomes:
- Gain insight into the history and development of AI
- Learn the ways in which AI might impact jobs in the knowledge economy
- Find out how knowledge professionals can use AI in the workplace and how applications like ChatGPT can help guide job searches
