Fall 2020 Navigating the Canadian Workplace Workshop Series

September 21, 2020

Location:online
Audience:Current Students

The “Navigating the Canadian Workplace” series is a self-directed workshop series where students can access the information through cuLearn, meaning students can complete the individual workshops at their own pace. Students will have 8 weeks (starting September 21st) to complete the workshop series. If they wish to add the workshop series to their CCR (and graduate professional development hours), they will need to complete and submit the assignments for all workshops. They also have the option to only complete the topics of interest, but would not be granted CCR/professional development acknowledgement.

Students can choose to register for either the Fall (September 21st, 2020) or Winter (January 18th, 2021) term workshop on mySuccess through Carleton Central.

Registrations is now open for Fall term, students are welcome to register now and they will be sent the link to the cuLearn workshop on September 21st.

More information on the workshop series can be found on the Career Services website:  https://carleton.ca/career/events-2/workshops/ and the description in mySuccess.

Additionally, if students have questions about the workshop series or issues with registration, they can email: ISWorkshops@cunet.carleton.ca

All graduate students and postdocs are welcome. If you are working as a TA, this session counts toward voluntary paid training hours, provided that you are working as a TA in the term when the training takes place. Students must complete all workshops to earn 5 hours worth of paid pedagogical training.
