Introduction to SPSS

This workshop will provide a primer on how to get started using SPSS. In this introductory workshop, we will cover basics: starting from a sample survey, uploading it into SPSS, then looking at how we can use SPSS to visualize and analyze survey results.  Attendees will be provided with techniques in SPSS using drop down menus.

Workshop leader: Danielle Rieger, Statistics Consultant, MacOdrum Library

Intended audience: Anyone interested in learning the basics of SPSS. No previous knowledge of SPSS is required for this workshop. As well, the participant does NOT need to have SPSS installed on their computer for this workshop. This workshop is intended for current members of the Carleton community.

All graduate students are welcome. If you are working as a TA, this session counts toward voluntary paid training hours, provided that you are working as a TA in the term when the training takes place.
