Exploring the job market takes time and effort, but the information you gather will be crucial to finding the right professional position. Learn how to ask the right questions so that you can gain an understanding of the sectors and occupations in your areas of interest, and how to think “horizontally” about professions that span multiple sectors.

Learning outcomes:

  • Gain insight into the different sectors of the job market
  • Learn where graduates from different fields of study are most likely to end up
  • Take a “start where you are” approach to job market exploration, to avoid being overwhelmed by the number of possibilities
