Welcome to Grad Navigate, a hub of graduate-specific workshops and services that will assist you in navigating through your grad school experience and beyond.

Grad Navigate workshops are offered by departments and services across campus. The list of workshops below contains only upcoming workshops. To see all workshops, past and upcoming, from the current or most recent term, please visit our categorized lists of workshops.

All graduate students are welcome and encouraged to attend Grad Navigate workshops, but if you are working as a TA, these workshops can count toward your paid pedagogical training hours (if completed during the term of your employment). Please visit our TA page for more in-depth information about TA training and the difference between pedagogical and compliance training. Further information, including Frequently Asked Questions, can be found on the Educational Development Centre’s TA Support website. Please note that TA training hours are manually tracked and TAs should allow 2 weeks for training to appear on their training transcript.

All Grad Navigate workshops are finished for this academic year, and our list of workshops will reappear in late August. Workshop descriptions from the Winter 2017 term are available in the listings under five categories: Research and Writing, Professional Skills, Career Planning, Teaching Skills, and Wellness.

If you would like to engage in professional development in the meantime, Mitacs is now offering a series of Spring workshops. Check out the workshops coming up within Ontario!
