Artificial Intelligence (AI) is poised to change the way we work. Developments like OpenAI&#039;s 2022 release of ChatGPT have shown that the knowledge economy will not be immune to automation. In this workshop we will look at the development of AI, the impact it may have on communications and knowledge mobilization, and how knowledge professionals can to work with AI as a tool instead of fearing it.



Learning outcomes:




Gain insight into the history and development of AI



Consider the ways in which AI might impact jobs in the knowledge economy



Find out how knowledge professionals can use AI in the workplace



Understand AI&#039;s impact on communication and knowledge roles
