His PhD research was also focused on seismic performance of hollow and concrete filled Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) piles in clay and sand soils. The load carrying capacity and general performance of these piles have been investigated under both static loads in the filed as well as dynamic loads using a large scale 1-g shaking table tests in laboratory.
