Morgan is currently completing a MSc in Environmental Archaeology and Paleoeconomy at the University of Sheffield, England after graduating from Carleton’s Greek and Roman Studies B.A. in 2017.\u00a0 The degree will allow her to acquire a specialized skillset for future research in the archaeological field. She is interested in animal husbandry, exploitation and market strategies in European prehistory. She hopes to continue onto a PhD in zooarchaeology after her MSc.<\/p>\n

During her undergraduate career in the Greek and Roman Studies program she focused much of her studies on Imperial Rome and its affects on provincial Europe and the British Isles. The degree provided a diverse education on many subjects from warfare, to Latin, to the technologies of past cultures. The faculty, degree, and Morgan’s Directed Research on the Romanization of British diets provided an excellent foundation for her to move onto further archaeological study.<\/p>\n
