Prof. O’Brien is the chair and host of the 2nd Occupant Behaviour Symposium and the 4th Experts Meeting of the International Energy Agency – Energy in Buildings and Communities Annex 66 (Definition and Simulation of Occupant Behavior in Buildings). 1.5-day workshop on Tools and technologies for sustainable campus and building cluster management (January 11-12, 2016, Carleton University)<\/strong><\/p>\n

In collaboration with Autodesk, the CIMS Lab, and the HBI Lab, we are hosting a 1.5-day workshop that will host about 50 experts from industry, government, and academia on the topic of campus and building cluster energy management. This event is by invitation only, but interested parties should contact Prof. O’Brien.<\/p>\n

eSim 2014 in Ottawa\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

IBPSA-Canada hosted its 8th\u00a0eSim\u00a0Building Simulation Conference in Ottawa in May 2014 at St. Brigid’s Centre for the Arts. It was attended by over 150 researchers and practitioners.
