The HBI Lab successfully won a project in the NRCan EIP program to investigate practical aspects of occupant modelling for building design and code compliance. The project is led by Liam O’Brien, Burak Gunay, and Ian Beausoleil-Morrison, in partnership with RWDI, Autodesk, NRC, and NRCan.<\/p>\n
HBI Lab is pleased to keep recent PhD grads Dr. Sara Gilani and Prof. Aly Abdelalim on the team as post-docs. Meanwhile, Dr. Mohamed Ouf from University of Manitoba is now a post-doc at Carleton. The team also welcomes Tareq Abuimara, a new PhD student, who will be performing a detailed case study in collaboration with RWDI.<\/p>\n
