Research and Education in Accessibility, Design, and Innovation (READi) Symposium

PART 1:  READi Launch (11:00am -12:00pm): This event will mark the launch of our new NSERC-funded CREATE training program called READi. This part will open with an introduction to the objectives of the program followed by the keynote speech by the Honorable Kent Hehr, Federal Minister of Sport and Persons with Disabilities (http://pm.gc.ca/eng/minister/honourable-kent-hehr)

PART 2:   1st READi Symposium (12:00pm – 4:00pm):  The READi Symposium is mainly targeted for READi associates, including students, researchers, and collaborators to exchange information, network, and discuss challenges and opportunities for accessibility, as it relates to the NSERC CREATE READi training program. Anyone who is not a READi associate but interested in engaging and learning about the program, is welcome to stay for this Symposium. External organizations may introduce themselves with a very short presentation. Please see the note below.
