Abstract

Alasdair Stuart-Bell – a seasoned UX researcher and designer from Jumping Elephants – will explore 9 key lessons based on his work, with a focus on user experience (UX). In this wide ranging presentation you will hear a little career advice, learn about a real life two-headed monster, and understand why we consistently overestimate our users (along with 6 other lessons).

About the speaker

Alasdair has over 18 years of experience as a user needs researcher, information architect, strategist, user experience designer, and is a strong project manager. He has an M.B.A. from Dalhousie University, which focused on Marketing, International Business, and Information Technology and a B.A. in Political Studies from McGill University. Alasdair is also actively involved in the volunteer scene and has won a variety of awards for his personal efforts.
