12pt;\"><span style=\"font-size: 9pt;\">*An official language test score is not required to submit an application. If you receive an offer of admission, then the offer may be conditional on providing your ESL test score.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n        <\/dd>\n    <\/div>\n\n\n    <\/dl>\n\n\n    <\/div>\n<\/section>\n\n\n\n<p>A Graduate Record Examination (GRE) is not required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After you have submitted your online application and your application fee has been processed, you will be instructed on how to upload your required documents in Carleton Central. The requirements for each document can be found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/graduate.carleton.ca\/apply-online\/required-documents\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Required Documents | Graduate Admissions<\/a> webpage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"admission-decisions\" class=\"wp-block-heading\">Admission Decisions<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><span lang=\"en-CA\">When the application is complete and we receive all the&nbsp;required documents, the status of your application on Carleton Central will turn to \u201cPreliminary Review Required,\u201d which indicates that your application is ready to be reviewed.&nbsp;<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\">The review process takes<strong> up to eight weeks starting after the <a href=\"https:\/\/graduate.carleton.ca\/cu-programs\/human-computer-interaction-masters\/#:~:text=Fall%20Application%20Deadline\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">application deadline<\/a><\/strong>.<\/span><span lang=\"en-US\"> Once a decision is made, your status will be updated and you will be notified by email.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can check your&nbsp;<a title=\"Application Status \" href=\"http:\/\/graduate.carleton.ca\/apply-online\/application-status\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">application status<\/a>&nbsp;in&nbsp;<a title=\"Carleton Central\" href=\"http:\/\/central.carleton.ca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Carleton Central<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to the high volume of applications, only complete applications will be considered.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>How To Apply The application process&nbsp;for graduate studies at Carleton for all prospective students is the same and must be completed online.&nbsp;For complete information regarding the application process, please consult&nbsp;Apply Online | Graduate Admissions.
