Doctor’s Appointments: Ongoing. Please present to HCS for your regularly scheduled appointment time.
Walk-In Services: Ongoing. Please present to HCS to see a walk-in doctor.
Nursing Services: Cancelled. No nursing injections are being completed – allergy, travel, TB, immunizations, Vitamin B12, etc. Students may present to HCS to receive their serums and attend another clinic to have them administered. There may be exceptions such as Depo-Provera shots.
Counselling Appointments: Cancelled. For urgent care, please present to HCS for access to limited walk-in counselling spots starting at 1pm. First come, first serve.

Walk-In Hours: 8:30 a.m. to 3:45 p.m.
(or when maximum capacity reached)

Note: Walk-in patients will be seen according to need and availability of staff. Only one issue will be addressed per visit.

Note: Nurses will not be able to administer shots of any kind between the hours of 12 pm-1 pm. Please come before or after this time.

Appointment information:

An appointment is necessary for most visits and mandatory for the following:

  • Complete Physical Examinations
  • Counselling
  • STI Testing and Results
  • Birth Control
  • Prescription Renewals
  • Referrals to Specialists

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your booked appointment time and bring your Carleton card and Health card.  If you are more than 15 minutes late, the appointment will be rescheduled for another time and the cancellation policy will be in effect.

Updating Contact Information for Existing Clients

When updating your personal information with Carleton Central it does not automatically filter down to HCS. Please email us with your new home/email address, phone/cell number and/or health insurance number.
