She holds an undergraduate degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, and Behaviour from McMaster University and has worked in the community providing emotional and practical support to survivors of gender-based violence. She is particularly drawn to the HWERG lab\u2019s focus on community-based research, which aligns with her passion for hands-on, trauma-informed approaches. Kristina is excited to leverage her front-line experience to create education, programs, and policies that prevent gender-based violence, improve mental health, and foster supportive communities.
