Michelle Paquette is of mixed Cree and European ancestry. She lives and is raising her five children on the traditional lands of the Semiahmoo, Katzie, Kwikwetlem, Kwantlen, Qayqayt and Tsawwassen First Nations. She is currently attending Langara College with a focus on Indigenous Studies.
