Student, Bachelor of Health Science
My name is Chloe Stevens and I am working towards achieving my Bachelor of Health Sciences in 2018.
My hard work during the first year of my program paid off and I was invited to apply for the Dean’s Summer Research Internship. I worked with my health professor to complete my application and I was elated to hear that I had been awarded an internship position for the summer. Over the course of my internship, I learned invaluable lab skills and useful information that will help me throughout my years at Carleton. I worked closely with other students from my program and we all became good friends. The fact that this internship was also paid made it an even better opportunity for us students. Our graduate student and professor supervisors were very kind and understanding. I am so glad I was given this opportunity and I am looking forward to any future opportunities that will come out of receiving this summer research internship. Without the research internship, I would have been working at my part-time job and not doing much else with my time. Instead, I was able to learn new things while also earning money. I would like to thank everyone who made this internship program possible!
