During her undergraduate studies, she developed a strong interest in antimicrobial resistance while conducting research with the company CARB-X. She is now continuing to explore this topic as an MSc candidate in the Overhage Lab, investigating hypochlorous acid-mediated resistance in the priority pathogen <em>Pseudomonas aeruginosa<\/em>.
