Accessibility & Wellness Series: Redefining Movement
*Registration for this event has now closed. Thank you for your interest!
This event will encourage folks to engage in movement with ease and less effort, without judgements for “not doing enough”. Judgements of this sort do not motivate people to integrate habits of daily activity into their lives. We want to shift any attitudinal barriers here and expand our definitions of movement by sharing the intrinsic (and extrinsic) benefits of even the smallest of efforts.
This session will be presented by Jocelyn van Wynsberghe, Student Support Officer with Carleton’s Paul Menton Centre and Ben Johnson, Certified Functional Medicine Health Coach and Personal Trainer.
This will be a hybrid event. Registrants will have the option of joining the event in-person (on campus in 1020 Nicol Building) or virtually (via Zoom). More info will be shared via email prior to the event.
