No-Sweat Movement Challenge
In celebration of Healthy Workplace Month, Healthy Workplace has partnered with the READ Initiative team to launch the No-Sweat Movement Challenge during the month of October.
Are you an all-or-nothing thinker when it comes to exercise? Do you find it difficult to get started?
This challenge is for you!
The purpose of the No-Sweat Movement Challenge is to encourage you to do whatever movement you feel like doing and recognize how valuable, healthy and healing daily activity can be, rather than overthinking it.
We want to support Carleton faculty and staff to engage in movement with ease and less effort, without judgements for “not doing enough”. We want to shift attitudinal barriers and expand our definitions of movement by recognizing the intrinsic (and extrinsic) benefits of even the smallest of efforts.
The challenge will run from October 1 – 31, and you are encouraged to participate in whatever kind of movement you choose, for however long you choose, each day throughout the month.
If you choose to submit your tracking sheet to Healthy Workplace by November 5, you will be entered into a draw to win Carleton swag!
You can download your tracking sheet here.
