Understanding the Health Care System and Services for Seniors and Families

Are you currently, or do you anticipate providing care or support to an aging loved one?  How familiar are you with today’s health care system and available services for seniors and families?   Do you know where to go to for service and support when you need it?

Balancing work and eldercare is challenging.   This session provides you with important information about how the health care system and support services are organized for seniors and families, prepares you to better navigate this system, and helps you prioritize your time and effort as a working caregiver.  Optimizing resources and knowing where to go when you need help will ensure you tip the scales in favour of a successful caregiving experience for both you and your aging loved one.
