All People All Pathways peer support meetings are coming back virtually!

All People All Pathways peer support meetings are coming back for Carleton staff! They will now be virtual, through the Zoom platform. All People All Pathways is provided through continued partnership with the Community Addictions Peer Support Association (CAPSA). These meetings are facilitated by persons with lived and living experience with substance use and addiction. The meetings are non-comital and do not require attendees to abstain from substances, if they so choose. These meetings have been approved by HR, there is no reporting, and they are completely confidential.

Carleton University has partnered with the Community Addictions Peer Support Association (CAPSA) to bring weekly support meetings for those affected by substance use and addiction to campus. All People All Pathways is a peer support group facilitated by individuals with lived or living experience with substance use and addiction. It is an open drop in group with no weekly commitment or expectations of abstinence and is open to family and friends of those struggling with substance use as well.

The purpose of our weekly peer recovery group is for individuals affected by addiction to share their experiences about what has helped them on their journey, and provide a safe and aware environment for those seeking help to ask questions, free from stigma or discrimination.

Each week, our meeting focuses on a different topic. There will be an educational component followed by discussion. Those in attendance are welcome to ask questions or provide suggestions based on their personal experience. All People All Pathways is meant to create a safe space and what is shared with the group is kept confidential out of respect for participants and their stories.

Our group is inclusive of all individuals in or seeking recovery from all forms of addiction, their families, allies, and professionals. All are welcome to attend our meetings.

The Staff/Faculty online group takes place on Wednesdays from 1:30 – 3:00pm on Zoom. Fee free to join later than 1:30pm and leave earlier than 3:00pm, if you need to. You will be welcome regardless what time you join or leave the meeting. Our group is inclusive of all individuals in or seeking recovery from all forms of addiction, their families, allies, and professionals. All are welcome to attend our meetings.
