Mental Health Leadership Certificate

At this time, this certificate is only open to those who supervise, lead, or manager teams at Carleton. 

The practical framework and leadership skills introduced in the program align with evidence-based and industry best practices, including the National Standard for Psychological Health and Safety in the Workplace.

Over the course of three modules, participants explore the case for mental health in the workplace. This includes an improved understanding of relevant legal, ethical and business concerns. This certification program also supports the development of empathetic and solution-focused leadership skills, which can be transferred to a variety of professional settings and situations.

Please note: You must be able to attend all sessions listed below. This includes two synchronous modules with instructor led and learning lab sessions and one asynchronous module that you can complete on your own time within a month of completing the first tow modules.

Dates for this session:

  • Monday, August 10, 10:00am-12:00pm, module one online instructor-led class
  • Friday, August 14, 10:30am-12:00pm, module one online learning lab
  • Monday, August 24, 10:00am-12:00pm, module two online instructor-led class
  • Friday, August 28, 10:30am-12:00pm, module two online learning lab
  • Tuesday, September 4-Tuesday, October 1st – time to complete module three at own pace
