In this 3-week workshop series we’ll dive into the role of rest in our wellbeing and mental health. You’ll learn all about the power of rest for not just supporting your health, but for inspiring creativity and a sense of deep and meaningful connection with yourself, others and your work.

Week 1: Exploring the power of rest (Tuesday, December 1, 2:00 – 3:00pm)

We’ll start things off by exploring the power of rest. You’ll learn about the scientific, emotional, and spiritual dimensions of rest. You’ll learn about the role of rest in your nervous system and response to stress and the role of rest in the creative cycle.

Week 2: Techniques & Tools to Bring Rest Into Your Day (Tuesday, December 8, 2:00 – 3:00pm)

In this workshop we’ll explore techniques for bringing more rest into our day. You’ll have the chance to experience a variety of tools including breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, and mindfulness exercises. We’ll focus on rest practices that can be incorporated both within and beyond the workday.

Week 3: Creating your Rest Rhythms Plan (Tuesday, December 15, 2:00 – 3:00pm)

In our last workshop, we’ll talk about how our rest needs shift with the seasons of the year and the seasons of our lives. You’ll create a personalized plan to bring more moments of rest into each and every day. You’ll be guided through exercises to help you understand your natural rhythms of energy and depletion and to understand what rest practices might best support you at this moment in time.
