Give yourself the gift of space this winter!
Every Friday from 1:00pm – 1:20pm from Friday, January 14, 2022 to Friday, April 29, 2022, step away from the busyness of the day to turn your attention inward and gently tend to whatever may be arising. For these 20 minutes, you’ll be led in real-time through a head-to-toe relaxation exercise, guided visualization or mindfulness practice, followed by a few moments of re-orientation and grounding before the session ends. These virtual meditation meetups will be held on Zoom, and will run from Jan 14 – April 29, 2022). These are drop-in style meetups so please come when you can!
About the Meditation Instructor
Heather has been writing scripts and holding space for individuals and small groups to engage in contemplative practices since 2015. Her primary focus lies in crafting personalized rituals to support various types of transition and transformation, using guided imagery, music, physical space-shifting, and a compassionate presence rooted in transpersonal awareness. She draws on long-standing personal practices woven together with certification and experience in personal support work in mental health and hospice care. Heather believes much of the work lies in untying knots of tension in mind and body so we may develop a resonance in our systems of what surrender feels like. This kind of practice can serve to support ourselves and our communities across all dimensions of being, in both life and death.
