** The winner of the 2021 Spring Cleaning & Decluttering Challenge is Céline Bonnotte-Hoover from the Department of French – congratulations!
Spring is the perfect time of year to spend some time cleaning and decluttering your home. Healthy Workplace and Sustainability Carleton have partnered to offer this Spring Cleaning & Decluttering Challenge to encourage Carleton faculty and staff to spend a bit of time each day during the month of April tidying their space.
Some benefits of organizing and cleaning up your space can include a decrease in stress, an increase in peace of mind, and less mental clutter! We encourage you to start by organizing your space, then minimize your possessions by getting rid of everything in the “junk” pile by selling, donating, recycling or upcycling.
We break down all the work into bite-sized tasks to make the whole process a lot less overwhelming! You can choose between the daily basic task or ambitious task – it’s up to you! Check off each task you complete, and return your tracking sheet to healthyworkplace@carleton.ca by June 6th for a chance to win a prize!
