DESCRIPTION:Join us for a brief tour of Faisa Omer’s Threading Roots, exploring how textiles, memory, family histories and cultural practices can shape our sense of identity and belonging. Inspired by Omer’s use of fabric and textile as a way of carrying stories across generations and places, we’ll create our own colourful yarn wall-hangings, weaving together materials, textures and personal meaning.
